Come and Visit Algonquin Nursing Home’s door-to-door service provides transportation for out-of-town families of residents who are unable to use other forms of transportation. Transportation is provided by licensed taxis or people with professional driving experience.
Areas to be serviced This service is provided for families who live outside the Mattawa area, in communities such as: North Bay, South River, Sturgeon Falls, Deep River and other places in between.
How to Book This service is available for out of town families. Call 744-2202 or 1-800-579-4284 and speak with the Ward Clerk (Karen), or the Home’s Placement Service Person (Lori). Office hours for booking are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Families are to call and schedule visits to ensure taxi availability. Visits should be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to desired visit. Families can book trips to ANH to visit their family member.
