Nursing Services

We recognize that every person is an individual and we respect his/her needs for physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual support.

Our bilingual nursing staff (including registered nurses, registered practical nurses, health care and nurse’s aides) is always present to provide 24 hour care under the direction of qualified, local physicians. Mattawa area residents may retain their personal doctor if they wish.

Life Enrichment

We offer a full program of activities including: crafts, social, home-mkaing, wheelchair gardening, small group outings, classes, and as always, we take into account personal preferences. In keeping with the warmth and community spirit present in the town of Mattawa and the surrounding area, volunteer groups often visit to provide special days, gatherings, and other looked-forward-to events. Of course, visitors are always welcome. Just like home.

Palliative Care

Palliative care is the compassionate care of our resident who are facing a life threatening or terminal illness. Based on an individual's wishes, we support the resident and their family or friends in meeting death with dignity and comfort.

Pastoral Care and Church Services

A group of volunteers from various religious denominations, provide pastoral care to residents who wish to have this support.
