There comes a time when each of us, or a parent, grandparent, spouse or good friend, considers moving to a nursing home. Although the decision is difficult, the care and support a person receives at Algonquin Nursing Home can lead to many years of healthy, enjoyable living surrounded by new friends and familiar routines.

We at Algonquin provide a friendly home-atmosphere in a beautiful garden setting. Long-term residents, or those who need to spend only a short while with us (respite care), and day program participants, are all provided with good, qualified, and appropriate care.

To be the recognized leading provider of long-term care, respite care, and support services for the people of East Nipissing and Ontario.

The Algonquin Nursing home is dedicated to providing “A Place Called Home”. Its mandate is to provide the people of East Nipissing with compassionate care in a home-like setting.
